Nutrition

I have found that proper nutrition can help pets attain and maintain a healthy body and happy life.

Many new pet owners put thought into what they should feed their newest family member and think that all pet foods are the same that is a misconception many of your cheaper dogs foods contain fillers and additives that are not good for your pet such as animal by products, soy and corn which can cause food allergies in dogs.

Dogs are omnivores and descend from wolves who live on a diet largely made up of raw meat, I believe in feeding my dog a rotation diet consisting of raw meats as the main protein source consisting of chicken, beef, lamb with organ meats and ground bone. A diet consisting mainly of raw meat reflects what your pet would eat in its natural habitat.  Many benefits from feeding raw diets to your pets is optimal nutrition which leads to lean muscle tone, strong bones, healthy skin and a long happy active life.

You don’t eat the same thing day in and day out, why should your pet!

I rotate between raw meat, holistic kibble and canned food that is made with real meat, poultry and hearty whole grains and vegetables, I believe that more variety will provide better overall health for your pet, the biggest problem with feeding any brand of kibble is that it is processed food and processed kibble lose any natural vitamins, minerals and enzymes that is needed for a well balanced meal for your new pet so if you shy away from feeding raw food I strongly recommend a holistic or human grade quality food for your pet.
